Health Message

*There should not be a great variety at any one meal, for this encourages overeating and causes indigestion. You should eat two to three times a day. It is not good to eat fruits and vegetables at the same meal because the fruit in the sugars will cause fermentation to happen. Instead at each meal you should only eat 2 or 3 simple kinds of foods.
*The use of soda or baking powder in breadmaking is harmful and unnecessary.
*Cheese is wholly unfit for a food.
*Do not have acid fruits such as berries, plums, or citrus with grain. Instead combine them with nuts and seeds for a complete meal that is easily digested.
*If you choose to include animal flesh in your diet, never combine it with a starch such as rice, potatoes, or bread, as this will cause putrefaction to take place. Instead, have a large green salad with the meat, which will improve the digestion and transit time.

These things were written by Ellen White but are also scientifically backed up.
